Events

We run an open Mic poetry night with our host: Chris Redmond:  

Poet, musician, writer. He is Co-Artistic Director of Hot Poets and founder of Tongue Fu, a collective known for its improvisational performances blending music, poetry, and theatre. 
He has collaborated with notable artists such as Kae Tempest, Lemn Sissay, Irvine Welsh, and Hollie McNish.  His book Let The Pig Out is published by Burning Eye. 

How the evening is run:

Doors open at 7.30 to run 8 - 10pm
1st half is open mic offering pre-booked spaced for 9 poets to have a 5 minute slot.
Interval - where tea, cold drinks and cake are available to buy.
2nd half we have a feature poet.

Tickets to be booked in advance. £5 open mic.  £8 audience. 
We are only small so get booked up quickly.
Arrive early as parking can be tricky on a Friday night.
